دوره CCNA که اولین مدرک ارائه شده توسط شرکت سیسکو می باشد کوتاه شده عبارت Cisco Certified Network Associate است. دوره CCNA شامل اطلاعات پایه ای در مورد شبکه های WAN و LAN و نحوه نصب و راه اندازی تجهیزات سخت افزاری تحت شبکه از قبیل روتر و سوئیچ می باشد. افراد پس از گذراندن دوره CCNA با انواع اتصالات و کابل های شبکه جهت اتصال دستگاههای مختلف شبکه و نیز نصب و پیکر بندی و عیب یابی شبکه ها و تجهیزات شبکه از قبیل روتر و سوئیچ با مقیاس کوچک تا متوسط آشنا خواهند شد. در واقع مدرک CCNA تائید کننده مهارت و تخصص مقدماتی فرد در کار شبکه است

دوره CCNP

دورهCCNP  یکی از مدارک ارائه شده توسط شرکت سیسکو می باشد که به افراد توانایی پیکربندی شبکه های WAN و LAN را با استفاده از تجهیزات سیسکو می دهد.

در دوره CCNP بر روی مباحث CCNA تاکید بیشتری می شود و با عمق وسیعتری بررسی می گردد. CCNP برای متخصصینی طراحی شده که در شبکه های وسیع مشغول به کار می باشند.

مدت زمان دوره آموزشی CCNP، 120ساعت و شامل 3 کورس می باشد:

در دوره ابتدایی Route بیشتر به مباحث سیسکو در زمینه مدیریت سیسکو و در دوره Switch درمورد راه اندازی و مدیریت سوئیچ های سیسکو و در نهایت در دوره Tshoot به عیب یابی تجهیزات و شبکه های مبتنی بر Device های سیسکو صحبت میشود.

در واقع می توان گفت گواهی CCNP به افراد توانایی طراحی، اجرا و عیب یابی شبکه های وسیع را می دهد.
